“Honestly, I liked the campus environment — it’s pretty peaceful and has a good academic atmosphere. The faculty in my department were quite supportive too, especially when it came to research guidance.
But one thing I didn’t like was the administrative delays — things like getting certificates, mark sheets, or even approvals would often take longer than expected. That was frustrating. Also, the placement support could have been stronger for non-technical courses.
Still, I’d recommend Bharathiar University for students who are focused on research or looking for a decent postgraduate program, especially in arts, science, or management.
Overall, I’d say it’s a good place to study if you’re self-driven and don’t expect too much hand-holding in terms of placements or administration.”

View moreI studied at a school where the teachers really cared about our growth, not just in academics, but also as individuals. Some teachers went out of their way to make sure we understood concepts, and that made a big difference for me, especially in subjects like Physics and English.
There were plenty of opportunities to take part in activities like sports, dramas, and debates, which helped me build my confidence. I still remember hosting school events and how nervous I was at first, but the encouragement I got made me step out of my comfort zone.
Of course, like any school, there were areas that could’ve been better—maybe more access to technology or updated labs—but overall, I feel lucky to have been part of that environment.
If someone asked me what my school taught me, I’d say: how to be confident, curious, and kind. And that stays with me even now.
View moreBharathiar University was a crucial stepping stone in my journey toward a career in IT and project management. Their curriculum was well-structured with a strong emphasis on foundational concepts that helped me build the technical skills I now rely on.
I particularly valued the opportunities given to us for hands-on learning through group projects, which taught me the importance of collaboration, a skill that’s been essential for me in managing teams across India, South Africa, UK and other regions.
The campus itself had a vibrant energy, with a mix of students from diverse backgrounds that enriched my perspective. This diversity, combined with the cultural events and seminars, gave me a broader worldview that I carried into my professional life.
The faculty were supportive and often encouraged us to think critically and apply theoretical knowledge to practical scenarios, which was a highlight for me.
On the flip side though, I felt the university could have enhanced its focus on emerging technologies such as AI and cloud computing, (which are now integral to the IT industry). While the basics were covered well, more thorough exposure to such trends would have better prepared me for the fast-evolving tech landscape.
Additionally, the career support services could be more proactive. Connecting students with internships or industry mentors would have been a game-changer, but this was sorely lacking.
Overall, I would give Bharathiar University 4 out of 5 stars. It provided a solid academic foundation and a culturally rich environment that shaped my growth, but incorporating more cutting-edge tech and career opportunities could elevate the experience for students in the future. I would recommend it to students who are self-driven and looking for a well-rounded university experience.
View moreMy university experience has been mostly positive. The faculty is supportive, approachable, and genuinely cares about student growth. The curriculum is structured well, and we have access to helpful resources and workshops. What I liked the most was the campus environment it’s friendly, inclusive, and encourages collaboration.
However, I’d love to see more active involvement with industry professionals and hands-on projects to bridge the gap between academics and real-world skills. Despite that, I’d definitely recommend this university to students looking for a strong academic foundation with a great peer network.
