I graduated from the University of Debrecen in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in English Linguistics, and looking back, I can confidently say that studying there was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

The university offers a vibrant academic atmosphere, a beautiful campus, and a strong support system for international students. The English Linguistics program was both intellectually stimulating and well-structured, with highly knowledgeable lecturers who were genuinely passionate about their subjects. I appreciated how the curriculum combined theoretical knowledge with practical application, allowing me to deepen my understanding of language, culture, and communication.

What I liked most was the diversity on campus and the welcoming environment. I had the chance to meet people from all over the world, which enriched my academic and personal experience. The university’s library resources and student facilities were excellent, and the city of Debrecen itself is charming, affordable, and student-friendly.

Would I recommend the University of Debrecen? Absolutely. Whether you’re looking for quality education, a multicultural environment, or a place to grow both academically and personally, this university offers it all.
