Széchenyi István University - SZE (reviews)

In my opinion the university sits in a very good place in city. The transportation is excelent, the trainstation is only 10-15 minutes with walking or with bus only 9 minutes. The university campus is very big and beatiful there is a lot of things you can do I think the teachers not the best but other than that I like it

I think it’s somehow in the good range but I think there should be a lot to go.
No social life whatsoever.
There should be more event because if the student doesn’t do anything or plan anything there won’t be anything at all

I like, because the guiding academic staff from top to the bottom is working on real life applications of the field and also have wide information on theoreticals. Also qualified labs and good campus.

I had a fairly good experience at Széchenyi István University. I chose the university because of its location which is very favourable for studying. There is also a large community of international students, and from time to time the university organizes food festivals, game nights and sports activities to encourage culture exchange. Nonetheless, one of the challenges I experienced as an international student was accessing hard copy English books from the physical campus library which mainly has Hungarian books, therefore making it hard to do research. However, there are online resources one can use to get the books in pdf form. Besides this, I would definitely recommend applying here since the university has all the amenities a student would require.
