Budapest University of Technology and Economics - BME (reviews)

I am a BSc Civil Engineering student at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. Firstly, my university has a Preparatory program that helps
students who fall short on certain subjects to catch up before starting their first year. Lecturers are genuinely interested in the students understanding course materials. They go the extra mile in organizing consultations and extra classes. There is also a balanced theory and practical style of education which is important in engineering programs.

Very good community life, high-quality education. If I could do it over again, I would apply for BME again. Community life is similarly mature as in America, we have an endless circle of people who provide a wide range of knowledge to those who want to deepen their knowledge in all areas.

I was a student of this university for 5 years and if I ever had to decide again I would come here again. It was a great experience both the social life and classes were great. I would recommend for anybody.

BME is a great school but then there is so much workload that’s why I’m giving it 3 stars otherwise I love it here, anyone who wants to come to BME should really do cuz it’s very diverse and we have a lot of internationals. You’ll love it!

Since I started my studies here, I have experienced a new lease of life as I have connected with so many international scholars and well-trained professors. What I like about the program is the technological innovations deployed in teaching the courses. I also like the fact that the school is located in the city centre which is not far away from the airport and other means of transportation.

I find the university very remarkable, first of all, because of the strategic location of the school. Also, the professors are well equipped to impact the knowledge needed for 21st-century innovation. And the multicultural composition of the institution is a major plus for scholars. Overall, the University is one of excellence and prestige, recognised internationally among other world universities!

I am presently studying Masters in electrical engineering, I am in my first year of the program. So far the academic journey has been relatively tough because of the high standard of the academic system here. The school also has a chance for a lot of practice so it enables me to have practical knowledge. The student life is great as I have connected with so many international students from across the globe. The school is in the city centre and has enough transport system.

Though coming from a different background, it was not easy for me to catch up. Had to study harder than I have ever done. After a series of failures here and there I finally made it. It wasn’t easy but it is doable. Everyone knows as a BME student you’re different and can’t compare. I think it’s safe to say, BME graduates its Own students, not just ordinary graduates. A degree from BME guarantees you a spot in any prestigious organisation as it is recognised as one of the best across Europe.
