Student review [#13715] for Chemical Engineering
at University of Patras

Located just a couple of hours from Athens, Patras is a city dedicated to students. Its campus, located just outside the city – yet close enough thanks to the commuting system- provides everything a student needs on a daily basis.
I graduated from the Department of Chemical Engineering. The program, and its curriculum may at first seem intimidating. But by the time you graduate you find yourself prepared for the majority of the fields that a Chemical Engineer may be interested in. Through demanding courses and lab work in the end you are trained well enough, to meet the expectations and the needs of the ”real” world. On the other hand, it needs to broaden more the curriculum, to become more interdisciplinary, as the profession of a Chemical Engineer. Ι would also like to see more practical training and not only focusing on theory. Overall I think that this Department, through its program and faculty, is determined to equip you with the necessary tools to ensure the very best in your next step.
