Student review [#11746] for Computer Engineering and Informatics
at University of Patras

This university is located 10km outside the city of Patras (transportation via bus or train). The campus is huge and beautiful, full of nature, big trees and points of interest.
Some facilities exist, but not in pristine condition. The gym is old and overpopulated, the sport fields are barely maintained, fountains never work. There are also some hidden gems; the university library is a great place to study, the conference center is new and luxurious etc.
Most departments are good enough for someone interested in those fields. Except the ones which are exceptional. There are some departments mostly in the technical field, which have plenty of recognition on a global rank. Also significant is the research conducted and the real life application of knowledge through this university’s programs
