University of Ioannina - UOI (reviews)

The facilites of the university were good and we had nice classrooms. I disliked some of our proffessors and the fact that they knew they had the power on us. Campus life were nice but we had to pay expensive tickets for the bus. I hoped we had a better discount

The university overall is really good ,with very smart and helping professors and comfortable classes,the only problem is the rude psychology secretariat stuff ,especially the female one and also the overweight man ,I personally think kindness is what makes a place safe for students to share their thoughts and feelings ,so this is a problem that has to be solved soon in order to avoid any bullying victims . Let’s not forget that the adults have to show the students the right path not only in career but also in life in general

My university is inside a ” campus” and even tho there is a lot of beaury in the trees that surround it, the buildings are very outdated, graffities everywhere and not the creative kind. I am satisfied with the teachers and the classes, I’m a freshmen and I am not sure but i think they are doing a great job, minus some teachers that don’t even APPEAR to the lessons and leave them to a substitute teachers. Sorry for my English, it’s my second language!!! But there is a chance that my university can be merged with another university, causing our degree to lose more of it’s value. We have to get masters in my country( for my major which is preschool education) because we can’t claim a job, due to the competition.

UOI gave me the opportunity to grow as a person and as a researcher. I graduated as an archaeologist and despite the fact that the programme itself was lacking, I can say that the communication with certain professors gave me the chance to study hard in order for me to achieve my goals and also created for me opportunities for collaboration with many excavating projects. I can say that all the pros outshine the cons of the lacking at the professor facility or even at the programma itself.
