My experience at the university was largely positive. The faculty were genuinely invested in their students’ success. The university’s location is convenient, and the course material was, for the most part, modern and relevant. While some classrooms felt quite cramped, the academic support services were readily available and helpful. The school also did a decent job of providing opportunities for internships and future employment.

The university of Macedonia is as I said, a very clean and fancy. I enjoy the spaces and the overall safety. I dislike the fat that most rooms, at least in my department, are too small and can’t fit all the students. The teachers are very professional. The classes are hard, but they are helpfull.

I ‘ve been a student in this University for 4 years, and I studied in the department of applied informatics. Overall I have a great experience. The majority of the professors will help you and they will have nice lectures. This university has a great position in the city of Thessaloniki almost on city center but next to a part of the town that the rents are a bit lower. Also is a clean environment with nice esthetics. Although I can highlight some problems, first of all the classrooms are a bit small in comparison to the amount of students and this is a little disturbing especially in the Labs. Moreover The political parties might be aggressive by trying to make you join them. To sum up I have great memories of that place if you want to study informatics combined with economics is the place for you, because this university focuses on the economics field and next to Computer science you will learn a lot about them. If I had a choice between AUTH and UOM I would definitely choose again the university I joined. I will never regret it.

Good professors and amazing opportunities. The University of Macedonia is focusing on economics, so while studying Computer Science there I had the opportunity to attend many classes related to management and economics.

It’s an average uni with some really good teachers.
The facilities aren’t that good and not nearly enough for all the students to coexist in harmony.
The food is ok. And if you don’t like it you can go across the street for free food from another uni 😁

University of Macedonia is well-organized. You can always find someone to help you, either a professor or an administrative staff. Thanks to the synergies the University has with a variety of businesses, you can find an internship through the Career office. Also, the food is good and generally it’s clean. Last but not least, some professors are very helpful not only for their courses but as a mentor also.

The campus is very clean and very well preserved. The Teachers are very experienced and very helpful. The subjects that we learn and very useful in our carrier. One negative aspect is that the food here is not free for everyone but still it is cheap.

Did my postgraduate studies on Information Systems. It involved really hard work but had all the supporting infrastructure to succeed. Electronic resources, computer labs, teaching assistants that answer emails.
