Course options are very customizable, but the school tackles a range of different specializations(eg informatics, robotics, energy, industrial electronics). As a result, the first years (before specialization choice) can be very overbearing. As with most Greek uni’s, extracurricular activities are limited, but since it’s one of the most renowned Greek uni’s it does receive some funding. Nevertheless the facilities are hit or miss, sometimes lacking. Profs are overall decent and cooperative(with exceptions of course), and the uni offers many opportunities to further your career, but as far as Greek ECE schools go, it’s considered a difficult one to finish. Campus life is limited (Athenian city planning contributes to that – the uni is quite far away from actual urban social spaces), but a few clubs exist (they may be hard to find however, you might have to ask around) and to my knowledge quite an active Erasmus program. Few classes are in English.
