View moreThe first attribute of Greek education is the high quality of students and staff. The variety of our subjects is notable. This has been independently verified by the effectiveness and scientific productivity of many Greeks in foreign universities at various ranks and levels, and also by the high degree of collaboration between Greek and foreign universities, on a more or less equal basis, Possessing this certificate I can tell that I have a good knowledge of classical and social studies (like arts, sociology, politics, literature, pedagogy, history). Regarding student life; Athens is a small city compared to other European capitals, you have easy access to the public transportation (financially and practically), it’s a lively city with a really significant cultural background. On the other hand, the campus does not have any facilities except the new central library where students can work all together on a project or they can study having access to a big variety of books. The main building where the classes and the restaurant are located is an old building that is not a pleasant environment for studying and working and I think that this has an impact on the number of students that attends the classes. Education in Greece is free this is a big advantage that turns out to be a disadvantage in many ways (both the educational budget and the self-efficiency of the university). Studying in Athens is a unique experience with its pros and cons. However, the quality of the professors and the amount of knowledge you will possess finishing your studies are both strong incentives.
View moreAll professors have deep knowledge of the philosophical sector they were teaching. Thus all of the seminars were very important to built new knowledge. Moreover, we had the opportunity to study abroad or even to do our internship, so we have the opportunity to get new ideas on working methods.

View moreWell organized with great curriculum and high educated professors. The university faces difficulties (economic, technical and various others) but gets better day by day! It’s been a long time since my graduation but I always remember the high level of the courses and the amazing student life I had! My children are studying at the same university now and I’m very happy about it.
