STUDENT LIFE
As an Alba student, I feel really excited to be part of this community. However, when my colleagues at work or friends of mine are asking me about my experience as a student, I tell them that I feel like I am in an “Educational Army”!
The educational demands are so high and the time is restricted. So, as a student, you have to study quickly and moreover methodically to have the desired results. Although Alba gives many sources to use for your study, it is so difficult to be oriented toward it if you are working at the same time. Therefore, it is critical to attend the courses in order to gain knowledge and to spend less time studying at the weekends. Moreover, you have the chance to interact with foreign students who visited Alba for specific courses. Finally, I would like to state that companies prefer to recruit Alba students due to this “Educational Army”. Particularly, a Chief Recruiter told me: “We recruit Alba students because they promise speedy work! They are ready for the working environment!”.
FACILITIES
I have a little experience with the Alba facilities as I have a laptop and printer and a quiet place to study. So, I have not made use of the library or rooms with PCs. However, when I worked in a room with my team to prepare a task, the facilities were satisfying and covered our needs in terms of technology. Also, the ACG e-library is very helpful and provides many sources with texts. Moreover, the classrooms are clean and you attend the courses comfortably. Finally, I find the restaurant’s products adequate.
PROFESSORS EXPERTISE
All the Professors have great citations and they are reputed. All of them have remarkable expertise in the global environment and they are really willing to transfer their knowledge and experiences. However, I have noticed that some of the professors are more theoretical and they transfer to students more of their academic knowledge than their working experiences.
COURSES CONTENT
The textbooks and all the material used by professors respond to the content of the course. The presentations are of high level and the case studies help students to embed the subject that each course discusses.
