My Experience at the University

I studied renewable Energy Engineering in the University of Energy and Natural Resources. The course was well structured and I enjoyed the modules but there was not much practical training in my field (and in Engineering generally). the lectures were generally theory based and not much emphasis was placed on developing a practical skill in your field of study. the teaching staff were friendly and professional: if you paid attention in class and studied hard you would excel academically. The University has minimal involvement in your career prospects and employability- generally you will be responsible for these things. the University campus and facilities are not the best- the University campus is small and facilities for study are relatively few. Life as a student there was great. there were many activities, social clubs etc. that were enjoyable. the tuition fee as an International student was not so expensive. the academic knowledge was worth the pay! the The city the university is located in is kind of rural. Food and accommodation was cheap. I hope this was helpful! Thanks
