Tamale College of Education is one of the 46 Public Colleges of Education in Ghana. It is located in Tamale in the Northern Region of the country. The College has a very conducive and bright environment with a proper movement layout system. However most of the College buildings are old and not able to serve the increasing number of students enrolled for each academic year. The College also faces acute water challenges and sometimes affect the proper sanitation practices of Student hostels and washrooms.
Although the College is faced with these problems, it has a good library that serve both students and tutors. The ICT laboratory is also serving students even though it can only contain a small class size.
One of the best things the College can boast of is the descipline nature of students on campus.
