University of Cape coast (ucc) as jokingly referred to as university of constant confusion is among the highest ranked universities in Africa. Due it academic excellence, students usually see it to be tough and difficult to pass through. Personally, I was warned and well advised by friends when I told them that I have gained admission to UCC. This made me a bit scared and also developed some perceptions about the school. However, I developed some love for the school within my first year at the university and this made me continue to stay there even after first degree. The school taught me the meaning of excellence and how to earn it. I met good professors who think about students and provide them the opportunity to learn not just in classroom but also outside the classroom. I became fully aware of myself and how the world operates. Some courses were a bit difficult, especially economics courses however, I did very well in those courses because hard work. Thought there are other challenges including limited infrastructure, but UCC has changed and continuously changing the lives of many graduates who pass through the system.

In my opinion, the university of Cape Coast has gained its popularity due to the commitment of lecturers in terms of academics. Students are engaged in presentations and project works which firmly educates. My dislike about this university is the time quizzes are conducted. Quizzes are mostly unannounced and even as early as 5:30 , students write quizzes. Apart from this dislike University of Cape Coast is a beautiful place to be.

In my view about University of Cape Coast, i will say UCC has the best environment that support teaching and learning. One unique nature about their teaching process is that students are given 70% of the learning task to perform. This actively puts the student on his or toes thereby preparing the individual fully for the job market. Other things i may dislike is the dangerous incidents that occurs almost every hall week on campus. Other sister schools come to support their hall of interest and end up opposing other halls which leads to vigorous fight. UCC has so far been wonderful and even with the hall week though may seem fearful, we still enjoy and laugh through.

The university is one of the best in the country which has been as the best university in Ghana and West Africa. This is as a reason of the detailed research conducted by the students and the lecturers. The university is resourced with facilities needed for effective research

University of cape coast is a public university in Ghana which is located in cape coast in the central region of Ghana. UCC provides wide range of courses that allows all interested students to gain quality education. The programs offered in the university is classified under education studies, health and allied sciences, agriculture sciences and humanities and legal studies. The university has modern facilities which aid in providing quality education to students to fit in any where they find themselves. The school is doing it can to provide excellent education but I think the school should minimize the face to face tuition and involve online studies so so that interested people who wish to gain quality education online can gain access.

I attained my bachelor’s degree in Social Science in the university of Cape Coast. In UCC, lecturers avail themselves for effective and efficient learning. Students on campus dress decently. UCC is located along the coast and the breeze is an amazing experience! I will recommend UCC to everyone who wishes to apply for a university because its the best university in Ghana.

UCC is one of the good schools in Africa. Because of the rising number of students, it is difficult to secure accommodation. Students frequently forfeit their academic work for a long period in search of accommodation. Most times, the students skip or miss lectures due to problems resulting from lack of student accommodation. The school should try as much as possible to build enough hotels and halls to accumulate students

Talking of universities in Ghana, ucc cannot be left out. A conducive environment for students to grow their passion. One of the major issues I dislike on campus is the issue of accommodation because, the lack of accommodation may show truancy, low academic performance, poor examination performance, lack of interest in learning, poor attendance of library and lectures which can affect students in diverse ways

I am a social science student from UCC an interesting course but lessening becomes tough due to the issue of accommodation which is overwhelming, there are inadequate halls of residence, a room shared by two are now shared by four students and this posses a great challenge because there are no chairs and tables available for personal private studies.

Ucc is one of the good schools Ghana have but the security system on campus is weak. There is no fence wall to defend the entire school, and moreover the school is a mixture of the community and the students thereby causing insecurity during examination period and the security guards are just few. I would recommend that in order for the school to keep excelling the security system must be checked
