An aspect of Ashesi University that I admire is its efforts to incorporate diversity into everything the school does. Ashesi endeavours to break the bias of the feeling of not belonging amongst its international students and staff by hosting events like global cafes, where selected countries showcase their cultures. And cultural day, where every member displays the uniqueness of their cultural attire, food, and language uniqueness. This promotes exclusive diversity on the African continent. Ashesi University is a hub for African diversity.

Another attribute I like about Ashesi University is its efforts to build an ethical community among students and faculty. Ethics is one of the things Ashesi holds in high esteem. Ashesi university aims to build a community that ensures trust between its students and faculty. Upon arrival, students promise not to steal or cheat or allow others to steal or cheat (honour code). Upholding these values builds a high-trust community as it puts students in charge of their ethical postures and their alma mater’s reputation.
