Beyond the confines of classrooms, the University of Ghana offered a cultural tapestry unlike any other. The campus was a melting pot of diverse cultures, languages, and traditions, where students from different backgrounds came together to create a vibrant community. From attending traditional festivals to participating in cultural exchange programs, I was fortunate to immerse myself in Ghanaian culture and forge lifelong friendships along the way.

The University of Ghana, the top university in Ghana, was established by Ordinance on August 11, 1948 as the University College of the Gold Coast with the mission of delivering and advancing higher education, learning, and research. to develop into a top-tier, highly focused university.

I am impressed with the University’s facilities on a personal level. The top facilities in the nation are at the university. The university has enough space for both the instructors and the students. I will strongly suggest the institution.

What I like about this university is the system
If studies which is so free and also the means to lectures is very easy to access.Lecturers do provide us with appropriate slides for studies. What I do dislike is how strict invigoration is during exams time and I know it’s funny to mention that

Growing up as a child, I have always dreamt of attending the premier university that is the University of Ghana because of the good name it has proven to become and what I have heard about this prestigious institution.
Looking at academic perspective I think University Of Ghana is at its top level, quality lecturers who make learning simple and easier for students.
When you come to the entertainment aspect like hall weeks and SRC week celebrations, University of Ghana is the best.
When you come to infrastructure, environment and sporting activities, University of Ghana tops all institutions in Ghana.

Deciding to study accounting at the University of Ghana (UG) has been one of the best decisions I have made career-wise and for personal growth. Not only did it provide me with the necessary theoretical knowledge in Accounting but it also equipped me with certain soft skills which proved useful in an office environment.
Tutors and student life in UG are far above international standards as it has adequate facilities in every program being offered from biochemistry to drama and dance.

University of Ghana, with its collegiate system, allows for a more decentralised decision making among the colleges and associated faculties to better tailor academic and extracurricular activities to students needs.

The lecturers and administrators are committed to ensure that the university’s systems function properly. They use innovative strategies to manage and teach students to impart relevant knowledge, skills and abilities into students from all over the world through research and pure academic work so that they can also better impart their environments.

I am proud to belong to this university that prides itself in and drills into students the values of hardworking, excellence, service and humility. These elements helped to establish and build upon my educational laurels, and better prepared me for the real world, amidst its ups and downs.
