I was a student at MetFilm School from 2016 to 2017, where I completed a Master’s in Directing. It was a great experience because I had the opportunity to learn from top-class, active filmmakers. The course was highly practical, with a final film project to submit alongside a written thesis. We also had the chance to work on an industry project in collaboration with current brands. The downside, however, was that we had to crew for each other’s films, which limited our interaction with other departments. After completing my degree, I successfully worked as a student ambassador, workshop facilitator, and admissions assistant, where I discussed the course structure, application process, and shared my personal experience at MET with potential students in career fairs, online and face-to-face.
