KLU is AACSB-accredited and teaches fully in English. You learn in small classes from research-active professors who bring real cases into the room, anchored in our “Operations Mindset”. The Hafen City campus and close professor access create a very personal learning environment.
KLU’s Career Services offers 1:1 coaching, CV/interview prep, and regular recruiting events. You’ll work on company projects, meet employers in class and on-site visits, and get access to a wide and active alumni network. Furthermore, the integrated semester abroad exposes you to cross-cultural interactions and global business practices, preparing you for an international career. You can find more information here.
We use a holistic review. Typical materials: transcripts, CV, motivation statement, and proof of English (if needed); some programs may ask for additional items. German isn’t required, but it helps for internships. Many students take German courses alongside their studies. You can find more information here.
Tuition varies by program and includes extensive student support and services. KLU offers merit- and need-based scholarships (plus external options like the Deutschland stipendium) and installment plans. Apply early to maximize scholarship opportunities. You can find more information here.
KLU offers a personal environment where small classes allow for direct interaction with professors. The coursework is practical. We managed a company simulation in Marketing and worked as consultants in collaboration with IBM for an Introduction to Digital Management project. These experiences provide real-world skills that go beyond theory.
The Career and Alumni Talks are a major advantage. They provide access to “hidden” job opportunities and internal referrals not found on public boards. These sessions allow you to build a professional network in a low-pressure setting while still studying.
The campus in HafenCity is modern and located right on the waterfront. Studying alongside an ambitious student body in this location is very motivating. I recommend KLU for its focus on real-world experience and career support.
View moreThe University is okay and the team are great. The environment is super conducive and a perfect learning strategy that builds the confidence in students.
Professors are good and knowledgeable BUT more electives will be advisable for student that don’t have background in Engineering to feel more comfortable and confident.
View moreVery good professors. Very good infrastructure and care about the students.
Good networking oportunities and different kinds of events. Very international environment with people from all over the world.
Choosing the Master’s in International Management at KLU has been a truly rewarding experience. From the very beginning, you feel like you’re becoming part of the KLU family a small, close-knit community where everyone knows and supports each other. The program combines academic depth with hands-on learning, and many courses include real company case studies, which makes it easy to connect theory with what actually happens in business.
The small class sizes make a huge difference. Professors know you by name, and discussions feel more like teamwork than traditional lectures. Most professors have strong industry or research backgrounds, and the examples they use often come from current global business challenges.
The community is incredibly international and active. There are many student clubs you can join, ranging from consulting and sustainability initiatives, and almost every week there’s something happening on campus from guest talks and networking events to social gatherings and cultural celebrations. The campus itself is modern and located right in Hamburg’s HafenCity, giving it a vibrant and inspiring atmosphere close to both startups and major companies.
Overall, KLU offers a truly global and practical business education. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who values an international mindset, real-world learning, and a strong sense of community
View moreI’m studying Bachelor in Business Administration at Kühne Logistics University and I honestly really enjoy it here. The university is super international, for example everyone speaks English and it’s easy to connect with people from all over the world.
One of my favorite courses was Accounting with Professor Alexander Himme. He’s a great teacher who explains things in such an engaging way, and you can tell he truly loves what he’s teaching. It made learning accounting way more interesting and understandable.
The atmosphere at KLU is really friendly and open. You can always approach professors if something isn’t clear, and they’ll take the time to explain it to you. That kind of support makes studying here so much easier.
Overall, I’d definitely recommend KLU because it’s a great place to study and grow in an international environment.
View moreI’ve been incredibly happy with my decision to come study here. The classes are really engaging with professors that do a lot to make sure everyone follows along. I would say one of the best thing about KLU is the fact that professors are very easy to get in contact with, and they are always willing to help you extra if you feel like you have not understood a concept correctly or are struggling. The faculty really cares a lot about the students and that’s a vibe that you can feel but that is also visible through the high number of student focused career events and mentoring sessions.
On top of that, the university has a great connection to the business world (both through Alumni but also through the professional network of the professors). We have a dedicated Career department which helps students decide what to pursue in terms of career opportunities and how to really stand out as candidates.
Can really recommend KLU to anyone looking to learn about business with real world application or to anyone looking to learn at one of the best institutions for logistics worldwide.
View moreStudying at KLU is highly recommended and a different experience from what you might be used to from state universities. KLU offers an exceptional student-prof ratio and highly knowledgeable professors teach in an international environment with high intercultural exchange. Furthermore, the facilities are modern and the campus is in the Hamburg HafenCity, laying very central and offering a breathtaking view at the Elbphilharmonie.
View moreI enjoyed the connections I made at this university. The content you learn is not better at other universities, but in contrast to bigger universities, the lecturers actually take their time to help you when you need help, classes are smaller, and connections feel more personal. This helped me not just in private life but especially for my career, as you build upon trust in each other rather than the quantity of people you meet.
View moreThe size of the university creates a casual learning environment. This allows for more focused classes and provides the opportunity to talk with professors who are happy to help you kick-start your career.
View moreThis university feels like a community and almost second home, and feels like a place of belonging- specially for the numerous international students that are in a cohort at any given point. This is only possible because of the management, staff and faculty – which make themselves so approachable. The management of the university is great and you can feel it from how organised everything is. That definitely obviously makes it a great ‘Management’ school. The professors are so experienced in their own fields and create a great learning environment and encourage critical thinking by ensuring class participation even from the most introverted students. I can’t say emotionally go good things about this university, I’m grateful to be an alumni from this university and would 100% recommend to anyone who is keen on learning and really growing. Go KLU!❤️
