Small and excellent school with strong technology and entrepreneurship focus. Small classes, personal experience with lecturers and staff. Curriculum well set up. Good lectures and interesting guest lecturers.
A lot of travelling if you are not living in the south of Hamburg, although doable for 3 semesters. Value/money is very good compared to UK/US schools even without getting one of the many scholarships. Financial breakeven often in <2years.
Well recognized in north of Germany, becoming more recognized around central Europe now. Every class has 1-2 larger successful startups, with founders often giving lectures on campus. More family-like vibe in alumni network then pure 'business-network'.

For someone like me, with a strong passion for entrepreneurship this environment is both inspiring and practical. It’s not just about academic learning it’s about doing. One of the standout aspects of NIT is its tight knit community. Alumni are always eager to share their insights and experiences, creating an invaluable network of support. It’s this sense of belonging and mutual encouragement that truly enhances the learning journey. I feel fortunate to be part of this vibrant community where healthy rivalry and collaboration fuels creativity and personal growth.

I really liked the learning experience. Perfect for Entrepreneurs! Welcoming study atmosphere with tasks not overwhelming. It’s a great way to start life in Germany for anyone coming to Germany for the first time.

Excellent small school with a strong focus on technology and entrepreneurship; small classes; personal experience with lecturers and staff; well-designed curriculum; good lectures and interesting guest lecturers; a lot of traveling if you don’t live in Hamburg’s south, but manageable for three semesters; excellent value for money compared to UK/US schools, even without receiving one of the many scholarships; financial breakeven in less than two years; well-known in northern Germany, but now more so in central Europe; each class has one or two larger successful startups, with founders frequently giving lectures on campus; the alumni network feels more like a family than a pure “business network”; the new CEO is driving growth; and there are plenty of opportunities and support provided for extracurricular activities, initiatives, etc.

This was the best Varsity ever. The professionalism is on the high level. I have no dislikes and I highly recommend it to people who are struggling with focus. It’s takes special students with disabilities.
