My experience at FSU Jena has been truly exceptional! The university has a long-standing reputation for academic excellence, and it lives up to it. As a biology student, I’ve had access to state-of-the-art labs and research facilities. The professors are incredibly supportive and encourage innovation, often involving students in cutting-edge projects. The campus is beautiful, surrounded by Jena’s picturesque hills, creating a serene atmosphere for learning. What I love most is the strong sense of community here, with countless cultural and social events that make it easy to connect with fellow students. Jena is small but charming, and it’s perfect for anyone seeking a blend of nature and academia.

The course is very promising and one of the best courses to study in Germany. But the module is not properly designed and it gets really difficult to pass the courses. Especially for the international students, the first semester courses are really tough to complete as there is no lab and all the courses are theories. As international students, the first semester is really crucial as we need to go through the initial struggle of living in a new country with new people. Having all the theory courses without any practical makes the situation more adverse. Also, I would like to point out one more thing that there are no exams or anything except the final exams so we actually appear in the exam without any clue how the exams in Germany are. Altogether studying in this course is quite challenging for international students.
