Darmstadt is also a great student city with good transport connections and a safe environment. Overall, TU Darmstadt provides high academic standards and valuable opportunities for personal and professional growth.
View moreI study psychology at TU Darmstadt. The Professors are great and very open to questions. Generally the slides are designed well. Engineering psychology is a big focus of research. Anyone wanting to work on product design, UX, driving simulators and such are in the right place. Unfortunately due to relatively low funding the other areas suffer a little. Although Interdisciplinary work is very possible and highly encouraged. Students are also given the choice to select a research question for their thesis or create a new one from scratch. Appropriate assistance is provided.
View moreThe university offers exceptional freedom for students to plan and pursue their projects, fostering a vibrant environment of innovation. The resources and support available are top-notch, making it a great place for creative minds. However, there’s room for improvement in expanding research fields, particularly in general aviation and broader aerospace topics. Introducing more specialized areas could significantly enhance the already impressive academic and research landscape.
View moreIn the realm of academia, who could have envisioned that one of the finest technical universities would also house a remarkable humanities program? For me, a devoted student of Data and Discourse Studies, this unexpected fusion has been nothing short of an educational revelation. It provides an unparalleled equilibrium between the realms of computation and social sciences, effectively presenting an extraordinary avenue for interdisciplinary academic exploration. The university’s picturesque campus not only boasts state-of-the-art libraries but also offers enchanting outdoor spaces that beckon students to study amidst nature’s serene embrace.
View moreIt is perfect university for international students. Almost all departments have a buddy and mentoring system. After students are enrolled, they immediately get emails by buddy program. Buddy programme includes workshops, welcome service, help for study programmes etc. First semester is not so complicated especially bachelor and master students.
