It’s a good journey.The research condition in my university is very good. My experience at TU Darmstadt has been very positive and academically enriching. The university offers a strong research-oriented environment with modern laboratories and excellent technical facilities. Professors are knowledgeable and approachable, and many courses are closely connected to current industry and research developments. The campus atmosphere is international and collaborative, which makes it easy to work on group projects and exchange ideas. Darmstadt is also a great student city with good transport connections and a safe environment. Overall, TU Darmstadt provides high academic standards and valuable opportunities for personal and professional growth.

I study psychology at TU Darmstadt. The Professors are great and very open to questions. Generally the slides are designed well. Engineering psychology is a big focus of research. Anyone wanting to work on product design, UX, driving simulators and such are in the right place. Unfortunately due to relatively low funding the other areas suffer a little. Although Interdisciplinary work is very possible and highly encouraged. Students are also given the choice to select a research question for their thesis or create a new one from scratch. Appropriate assistance is provided.

The university offers exceptional freedom for students to plan and pursue their projects, fostering a vibrant environment of innovation. The resources and support available are top-notch, making it a great place for creative minds. However, there’s room for improvement in expanding research fields, particularly in general aviation and broader aerospace topics. Introducing more specialized areas could significantly enhance the already impressive academic and research landscape.
