It has modern facilities and a diverse student body, but language barriers and administrative challenges can be issues for some students. It’s a good option for affordable and recognized medical education by WHO but graduates may face additional steps to practice in certain countries such as the UK,US or canada if you would be planning to go for the european program.However, there is a US program as well which prepares you for the future usmlee exams that you would have to give but is more costly than the european program. Do check that whatever university you’re applying to is accredited and recognized . Overall, TSMU is a solid choice for those seeking a global medical education experience

TSMU has been at the forefront of reliable universities to pursue Medicine and Surgery in Georgia. The professors come from extremely qualified backgrounds, and students get a lot of freedom to pursue academic activities beyond the scope of their syllabus in clinical years. These include joining various student organisations, student societies and engaging in research.

TSMU is a pretty good university. But one drawback is the fact that you don’t get hands on experience with cadavers since its not legal in georgia to use cadavers.
The professors are great and can speak english so language barrier isn’t much of a concern.

TSMU’s EuMD program is structured in a way which allows students to afford sufficient amount of time to focus on maintaining their academics while also being able to achieve overall holistic development.

It is a very friendly place and makes learning very effortless.
The teachers are very helpful too
Our practical classes have been conducive and they provide extra lessons to build our confidence.
Lots of cultural events also take place to balance our hectic schedules.

I think TSMU is a decent and good place to get your medical degree from. Your experience really depends upon the level of dedication you show as professors are more keen to teach those interested in learning. Although there may be lesser opportunities provided due to language barrier, so it’s important to master the Georgian language although you are not at any extreme “disadvantage “ if you’re not fluent.
