Tbilisi State University is one of Georgia’s oldest universities. Its diploma is certified, and it allows you to continue your studies at the international level. Some faculties are truly the greatest and most worthwhile to study at Tbilisi State University, such as the school of law, but in this review, I will relate my experience with Sociology, from which I graduated, and what you won’t find on the University page.
Professors are fantastic, but the study approach is a little out of date. There are a lot of papers and fewer computers and digital things. Most lectures may be attended by 200 other students (whether this is a good or bad thing depends on the student). There are extremely few spaces for subjects connected to your profession, therefore you must choose something completely unrelated for credit.
When taking exams in Maghlivi (with a large number of students and observers), you cannot cheat and must be well prepared. However, if you have exams with the professors, it may be easier to pass.
There is less practical experience, which is necessary.
Overall, sociology is not Tbilisi State University’s best faculty.
