I’ve just finished my first year at Université Toulouse Capitole, and overall, it’s been a really good experience. First of all, Toulouse is absolutely beautiful ; the “Ville Rose” has an amazing student vibe, great weather, and it’s just a fantastic place to live. When it comes to the university itself, most of the campus and facilities are top-notch, modern, and really clean.
However, there are a couple of downsides. While the main campus is great, the old Sciences Po (IEP) buildings really leave a lot to be desired and are definitely showing their age. The biggest issue for me, though, was the scheduling. The timetables can be pretty awful, and finishing classes at 8:00 PM is exhausting, especially for commuters who live far away and face a long trip home.
Still, it’s a great uni in a stunning city, and I don’t regret my choice.
