ENS allows its students to start a strongly research-based and customized study program. The low number of students and the high number of professors allows for a close relationship between them, which is the starting point for a successful career in Science or Letter. Despite some of the courses can be not aligned with the expectations, the wide range of options proposed meets people’s needs. Moreover, a big advantage of this formation is the fact that students can follow courses in apparently totally distinct areas of knowledge spanning from mathematics to cinema.
Outside courses, ENS offers a nice familiar environment rich in cultural events organized from students to students. Moreover lots of clubs, there, group people sharing a passion for art, for robotics or whatever.
What is important to have clear in mind is that ENS is still naive concerning internationalization: lots of students arrive from all over the world for exchanges but it’s still hard for them to be involved in the life of home students. I think that this is the area in which more can be done and must be done.
