The University of Lyon 1 is very amazing, if you are talking about science and technology, UCBL is among the best universities in france. It has good facilities, the library is well equipped and the environment was super conducive.
The University is very closed to different supermarkets.
The professors are very good and they Master their subjects except one or two of them that we find it difficult to understand him well because of the language, the program I studied (MSc in Synthesis Catalysis and Sustainable Chemistry) was in English, and his English was not good enough.
As an English speaking student, it is difficult to have new friends if you can’t speak French fluently.

I’ve done my Master-2 degree in this university in SCSC ( synthesis, catalysis, and sustainable chemistry) program. It was a tough program with a majority of organic chemistry where anyone (if he is willing to improve himself) can get a ton of help from all doctors specially the program director. The program also consists of catalytic courses in the second priority, further more the program emphasize on the green routes and cleaner chemical strategies, as it is being the future of chemistry.
