It’s been a surprising year, but what surprises me about the University of Lille is the student body and the students. It’s almost as if all students are passionate, adventurous and interested in learning, given that most people come to school to leave their parents and fail a few years of their lives. I can work with almost everyone I’ve ever met just because of that. It’s really refreshing to see that there is a transformative university experience in Lille.

This is my second year at the University of Lille, I’m approaching my third and if I can give some advice and suggestions, I would always say be ready for anything. Your goals and objectives are your own, if you expect people to go on a whim to get you there, you will be greatly frustrated. Just keep a realistic expectation of this institution and you will excel.

As I reflect on my time here, all I can say is that the memories that graduated with me cannot in any way be easily replaced. From the amazing people in IT, I am very grateful. You all have a special place in my heart.
