ISAE-ENSMA is a great school to follow aerospatial courses. Most of the courses are related to aerospatial stuff.
There are either theoretical or practical courses, and a spot reserved for sport in the schedule.
According to me, the program misses some CFD practice but you could choose to practise thanks to internships and projects.
Student life is an important part of an ISAE-ENSMA student, and even more important for foreign ones to get integrated.
Finally, you could follow a 30 hours Master theoretical course to complete your skills
We received an excellent formation about the theory of anything related to aerospace. However the practical training could be improved, overall the school teachings are on point.
In terms of school life, I can compare to another school since I did a double degree, and it is on a whole other level. Students are passionately involved in the students’ clubs, associations and events. There is a strong sense of solidarity among the students and they always make sure that everyone feels included.
Even the teachers are part of the student life and their supervision is perfect most of the time.
I did graduate from ISAE-ENSMA, and left the school ground but I know for sure that I will come back to the party, play volleyball, have fun and also guide the new generations, just like I would with my family.
The ISAE-ENSMA is a top-level aerospace engineering university. One of the best things is that the lessons are not only focused on the theoretical part but also on the practical side, which gives a very wide vision of the engineering program. Also, the research program is really good also, so if you’re thinking of doing a PhD this is your place!
Another really important thing for me is that it allows you to have free time for doing many things apart from studying! There are more than 60 clubs related to sport, dance, music, technical project, and much more!
The bad thing I see about the University is the location. It is placed basically in the middle of nowhere, so if you’re thinking of going there, please consider taking a car if you like going to town! If you prefer staying calm in the countryside, then don’t worry, you have everything you need nearby (including residencies where to stay).
