INSA Rennes was established in 1966 and is a part of the top French network of state graduate and post-graduate engineering institutions. With 6 schools in France and 7 partner schools and one international INSA in Morocco, INSA Rennes is one of the most prestigious schools in France, one of the “Grande École”. 130 qualified professors and lecturers are the foundation of this multinational school. INSA Rennes is known for its high level training in its excellent programmes with focus on Information & Communication & Technologies /Materials and Structures & Mechanics. Its 6 laboratories, 3 technological platforms and numerous industrial partners, make INSA Rennes an outstanding university. Nearly 1800 students are currently enrolled in INSA programmes. INSA Rennes offers Master degrees in engineering, Master by research, Doctorates (PhD) which are up to the highest official European standards. Admission requirements are strict- only one in 7 candidates is admitted into Year 1. The Engineering training is both practical and theoretical and includes industrial projects, internships in companies abroad and in France (which can make up 11 months of the programme). INSA Rennes’s graduates have a very high employment rate- 50% of the students are actually already recruited before graduating.
