École Estienne in Paris’ 13th Arrondissement is a school of art and design which opened in November of 1889. Specifically, the school is based on Boulevard Auguste-Blanqui. The institution is named after the Estienne family, who were a family of printers who lived in the 16th century. When École Estienne opened, it was based temporarily on rue Vauquelin and was made up of only 108 students. These days, the school is well-connected in the 13th arronndissement to the Parisian transport network.
