An exceptional campus that offers a comprehensive range of subjects. However, the teaching style heavily relies on PowerPoints and includes information that is not relevant to the subject. Conversely, there is a vast amount of online resources available for in-depth exploration.

In this city, the location of the institution is among the best. It is small in size and has state-of-the-art educational technology. due to the effective public transportation in Brampton. Students from neighboring cities also commute by train because we are a 5-minute walk from the nearest train station. Generally speaking, I have seen this campus grow over time.

I actively participated in the mentoring program to encourage people just starting out and help them get over challenges. The lecturers promoted critical thinking, which is crucial for professional advancement. Because the lecturer’s advise was immediately related to the duties carried out on a daily basis, it was simpler to put it into effect.

I had my wants in mind when the Aalto University program was developed. They also had classes that were a little bit shorter. The enrollment procedure was uneventful but effective. If you follow the right steps, it’s not that tough to do. Overall, I had a good experience. Most professors are quite encouraging. However, there will always be one or two highly rigorous instructors, regardless of where you go. My bachelor’s degree was just awarded to me. I’m currently pursuing my master’s, therefore it goes without saying that I really adore this place and would strongly advise others to do the same.

When my teachers at Aalto University pushed me to challenge what they were teaching me in order to create conversation points and improve my comprehension of the subjects, I was pleasantly pleased. I’m from Pakistan, where the authority of the professors was unquestionable, so I wasn’t used to this. What I discovered was that the lecturer became more comfortable with this method, which made it simpler for me to learn.

The curriculum is very detailed and provides in-depth knowledge. The courses cover a wide and deep range of relevant information with regard to the topic.

However, each course’s time span is a bit short, either 1,5 months or 3 months, so the whole wide range of content is compressed and results in heavy work but less effectiveness in long-term memory.

I loved the fact that the machine learning and data science program was very detailed oriented and in-depth. It gave me a deep knowledge of various aspects of machine learning and data mining. I did feel at times that the focus is more on theory as compared to practicalities but I guess it is the need to fulfil the requirement of further research-oriented careers as well as the industrial requirements. Overall it is a great program to master your skills.

University has lot of industry partners and interesting projects in different dimensions of computer science ranging across security, machine learning, human computer interaction, software engineeering etc.

I chose to do my masters at Aalto over a top 10 University in the US, and I did not regret it one bit. The quality of education, facilities and research opportunities at Aalto are on par with the best universities, especially in the field of computer science and machine learning. The innovation and entrepreneural vibe at Aalto is unmissable, especially in the startup space (Aaltoes, startup life, AVP, junction, slush, etc.. ) .
