Addis Ababa University offers a vibrant environment that encourages adaptability and personal growth. I particularly liked the availability of resources such as libraries, internet access, and study spaces, which created strong opportunities for academic development. However, I disliked that education was not always taken seriously in terms of practical application, and students with great potential were not consistently mentored or supported for life beyond university. The lack of follow-up, poor living conditions, low-quality food, and inadequate sanitation facilities also remain major concerns. Despite these challenges, the university provided me with resilience, adaptability, and valuable learning experiences, so I would still recommend it for its academic strength and cultural richness.
