Pros:
1. Addis Ababa University is a reputable institution in Africa and has an excellent academic reputation.
2. It offers a wide range of courses, from the humanities and social sciences to engineering technology and medical science.
3. The university has a great international exchange program, allowing students to take part in study abroad experiences around the world.
4. Addis Ababa University is one of Ethiopia’s oldest institutions and promotes research-oriented education in its various departments.
5. It also hosts some of the country’s most distinguished speakers from all over the world who visit as guest lecturers each year.
6. The university classes are diverse, giving students ample access to different perspectives on life and culture in Ethiopia, as well as other parts of the world.

Cons:
1. Despite having a wide array of courses, Addis Ababa University still lacks advanced programs that cater to more specific fields of study such as architecture or biotechnology for example.
2. The library is not well-equipped with books or other materials compared with other universities in Ethiopia or around the world
3 .The teaching staff at Addis Ababa University is not always up-to-date with current trends in academia or industry due to limited resources and professional development opportunities available to faculty members at the university.
