There are numerous opportunities for students to get involved in campus activities or even volunteer with different public service projects or community initiatives which focus on improving the surrounding area.
For international students, AAU also provides English language courses so that they can better understand the academic material they will be taught while studying at the university. Additionally, there are plenty of scholarships available for those interested in studying at Addis Ababa University.
All in all, Addis Ababa University offers a great chance for students to obtain a top-notch education with plenty of extracurricular activities available to keep them entertained and engaged during their studies. What I want to add is that
-The cost of programs can be quite high, making them inaccessible to many students.
-Facilities are often outdated, making it difficult to focus on studies.
-The rules and regulations surrounding student life can limit freedom of expression.
