I have different opinions about my academic experience. The use of English as the primary language of instruction is beneficial for international students, but the frequent switch to Amharic can be confusing and frustrating. This language barrier often hinders effective communication and understanding in the classroom.
While the quality of education at the university is generally good, I have noticed a heavy emphasis on theoretical knowledge rather than practical application. This lack of hands-on experience can be a disadvantage for students pursuing fields that require practical skills and experience. For facilities, Adama Science and Technology University has adequate resources, but they are not up to date and do not meet international standards. The technology available on campus is limited, which can be a hindrance to students looking to gain practical experience in their field of study.
