My overall experience at BUE has been positive. The professors are knowledgeable and supportive, especially within my programme. They often encourage critical thinking and practical application of what we learn, which really helped me grow both academically and personally.
The campus life is vibrant, with many clubs, events, and opportunities to get involved outside of lectures. This made university life much more enjoyable and gave me the chance to build strong friendships and networks.
One thing that could be improved is the administrative system; sometimes it can be slow and confusing when handling paperwork or course registrations.
Still, I would definitely recommend this university to other students looking for a good balance between academic challenge and social life.

My time at The British University in Egypt (BUE) has been a mix of academic challenges and personal growth. The Business Administration programme offers a solid foundation in theory with chances to participate in international experiences like X-Culture and climate conferences (e.g., COP27 and COP28), which truly broaden your perspective beyond the classroom.

Some professors are highly supportive and knowledgeable, especially when you seek help or show interest in practical applications. However, academic pressure can feel intense, especially with limited support in writing-heavy modules or if you fall behind due to personal or health issues. The system is strict, and recovering from academic warnings isn’t easy, so it requires discipline and mental resilience.

Campus life is active, with many student-led events, but sometimes administrative processes can feel bureaucratic and slow. Still, I appreciate the exposure I got and the leadership skills I developed through extracurriculars.

I would recommend BUE to students who are proactive, curious, and ready to engage beyond just academics. It’s a place where you get as much as you give, and it can shape you into a well-rounded graduate if you make the most of the opportunities.
