The quality of teaching is not quite good its average and the campus itself is old but that’s reasonable because its old and its in the middle of the town so its great because you don’t have to take long to reach it

We don’t have enough time to understand the scientific material and there is a lack of cooperation to the point that I wonder if I will be a good doctor? But the college allows operations and the residents to cooperate with us, so this is really enjoyable.

I’m at faculty of medicine, kasr alainy .. what I like is the reputation and how this place is historical and known by its large teaching hospital, thousands of patients visit the hospital daily which allows the students to see a great number of cases and the rare ones that may be no one saw like them at other universities around the world.
What I dislike that its site is separate from the main Cairo university campus, so we lose alot of vibes at the main campus, also the infection control is not good, which makes us at infection hazard all the time, not all professors explain topics in a good way, there should be proper selection for the teachers, also there are many restrictions put for the student activities which affects the students’ creativity and mental health.

Kasr Al-Ainy Medical School is ranked as the top medical school in the Middle East and Africa. One of its greatest strengths is the massive teaching hospital affiliated with the university, which provides us with hands-on clinical experience. We encounter a wide variety of cases, including rare and complex diseases, which significantly enhances our medical knowledge and clinical skills. The faculty members are internationally recognized and always supportive and approachable.

On the challenging side, the curriculum is intense and academically demanding, especially in the later years. The exams are particularly rigorous, requiring deep understanding and consistent preparation. However, this rigor contributes to the strong foundation and competence of its graduates.

CU is a public university so its reallyyy crowded. The batch may vary between 1k-5k if it’s a medical major, but it can get up to 10k if it’s faculty of business or low. Therefore, it’s almost impossible for the student to reach out to a professor and ask them about their doubts

I lived very beautiful days in Cairo and the Faculty of Medicine. Kasr Al-Aini is considered one of the oldest universities in the Arab world and also in the world. I also learned well at the hands of the best doctors and they helped me find the right job for me.
