I am very satisfied with my university. Our professors are highly supportive and dedicated to teaching us essential knowledge, ethics, and offering guidance for a better future. However, the university does not encourage student activities as much as it should. Those who wish to achieve something extracurricular often have to put in a great deal of effort, mostly on their own. Overall, I believe our system is among the best in the country, but there is limited opportunity to share ideas about teaching methods, schedules, exams, or other aspects. There seems to be a lack of willingness to embrace continuous change, which may be necessary in some situations.
View moreThe program is solid and the professors explain things well. There are some issues with organization and administration, but overall it’s a good university. I’d recommend it if you’re ready to put in the effort and want a strong education.
View moreI am studying at faculty of medicine, Cairo university which is one of the top medical schools in Africa and the middle east.
We have a huge hospital which makes us able to know many patients and different diseases. The professors are really helpful and I learned a lot there.
The problem is with no student activities support in the college and the dorms need to be better and the food also.
Regarding the curriculum, it is a little bit hard as we have to study a lot of amount in a little time which makes us reach burn out for sometime.
So far, my experience at Cairo University, particularly in the Faculty of Medicine, has been generally positive. I find the academic content interesting and valuable, which keeps me motivated despite the intense workload. The program is demanding, with a lot of pressure from exams and continuous studying, but that’s expected in medical school.
Overall, it’s been a good journey so far, and I feel that the university provides a solid foundation for a future medical career.
View moreAll in all i think we get the most experience due to the insane work load at our hospitals and the modular system works so well in comparison of what I’ve seen from other universities
So yeah, I might be biased cuz I love it
It is the first medical school to exist in Egypt, gathering great respect for its history and the great doctors that have passed by it, however there seems to be lack of flexibility and lack of proper planning when incorporating new technologies or new teaching systems into the curriculum.
