The Arab Academy for Science & Technology is one of the very well established private universities in Egypt. I was lucky to be a former student at AAST because in Egypt private universities usually have better facilities and campuses. I studied Management Information Systems which is a field that requires a lot of ICT facilities like computer labs. The instructors at AAST are very qualified and teach continuously updated curriculum that matches the job market needs.
I had a great student life with lots of activities both academic and non-academic.
Moreover, AAST has many international agreements and offers dual degrees in collaboration with universities in the UK, the US, and Europe.
AAST has many branches across Egypt. Two branches in Alexandria, a main large campus in Abokir and a smaller one in Miami. The only negative thing I would mention, is that the Miami campus where I studied is smaller than the other branches and there is a shortage in parking spots.
Overall I had a great experience and lived the best year of my life being a student at AAST.
