There’s something beautiful about this university. I have gone through many difficulties with my studies in terms of mental health and also discovering myself as someone who is neurodivergent and had a late diagnosis.
I have been in this university for around 7 years, and I have discovered not only how it works but how it’s comprised of people who try their best and who want to see the students succeed.

Being here and being able to carry on despite everything is a testament not only to myself and the students but also to the resilience of the university and the compromise that it’s got to its alumni.

Universidad Catolica de Santiago de Guayaquil is a private university located in Guayaquil, Ecuador. Established in 1962, it is one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in the country. Like many Catholic universities, UCSG often emphasizes a values-based education alongside academic excellence.

They do not have qualified teachers for each subject they teach, they make anyone teach the subject, the practices are bad, they do not give you solutions to the complaints presented by the students regarding the teachers. It is very expensive for the little they offer.

Well, in my years of study at the university, I really liked teaching, the love and support of the teachers. I like the support they offer to low-income people, since there are different aid plans for them, that seems very favorable to me because everyone should have the opportunity to complete their studies. I think they should encourage more use of the libraries since they have one of the best I have seen and improve the security of the facilities.
