I’m currently studying Computer Science at the Universidad Técnica Particular de Loja (UTPL), and overall, I consider it a good university. It has adequate technological resources for the program, such as well-equipped labs and good computers for practical work, which makes learning programming and other technical areas much easier.
Another positive point is that the university offers free transportation to campus, which is very helpful for those of us who live far away or don’t have our own transportation. This service makes attending classes more accessible and safer.
However, one thing that could be improved is the support provided by some teachers. On several occasions, I’ve found that some teachers aren’t very willing to answer questions or explain in more detail, especially in complex subjects. Despite this, there are also very committed teachers with good methodology.
Overall, my experience has been positive. UTPL continues to grow, promotes the use of digital tools, and maintains a well-rounded academic environment. I would recommend it, especially for those seeking training in technological or scientific fields.
