I just finished my master’s degree this year at this uni, it was just a so-so experience. What I liked is that I was able to balance work and study. I did not have the pressure to attend class in person. I did the tasks at my own pace, which was a huge plus since I have a very hectic life. On the down side teachers were kind to get a hold of, the only way to get in touch with them was via email but it took them ages to respond simple questions. The rest was fine, the content and subjects are up to date.
View moreMy opinion regarding this university is quite good. I graduated a few years ago so I guess things have changed. What I loved the most about this place was the fact that teachers were nice and prepared classes really well. However, some of them skipped classes sometimes or came late to class. The curriculum was fine, we learned the basics of English and then pedagogy both in English and Spanish. We also did our training and it was good to prepare ourselves for the future. Something I did not like sometimes was the lack of support from the Dean. Other than that, it is a cool place and people are nice.
View moreI think this is one of the best universities located in the South of Ecuador because of the quality in learning content as well as future career opportunities. Most of the teachers were a great support system for us students, and were willing to tutor us a few extra hours if needed. The campus was a beautiful place as well, very peaceful and just perfect to sit down and relax. One of the highlights of this university were the learning materials available. We could go to the library and have unlimited access to a series of books or podcasts to complement our leaning journey. I would definitely encourage people to enroll to UTPL. It is a game changer for the future.
