As a freshman at UNYP, I really appreciate the way the university teachers approach students—they are approachable, supportive, and genuinely engaged in our learning. The building is modern and conveniently located in the city, which makes attending classes enjoyable. The classes themselves are attentive and interesting, making it a great environment to start my university journey.
View moreI started my Psychology Bachelor’s degree at UNYP only two months ago and I already feel like I’m a part of the community. Not only has my degree been more than interesting, but I’ve met a lot of great people. One of UNYP’s best qualities is that you get to meet many international students from all around the world, which is not only educative but also super fun as you explore each other’s cultures. All the older students and faculty are welcoming and really understanding as you get used to university life, so it has certainly been an easy adjustment. So far, I love it and I would recommend it to anyone seeking a diverse community and an immersive learning experience!
View moreThis is my first semester at UNYP, from South Africa, I feel very accepted even with all the cultural differences and my professors do their best to help with any difficulties. I love my time spent here and all the knowledge the I have gained.
View moreI do like this university because since the first day I have been there I felt great! Made a lot of new friends and the teachers and the staff are amazing. UNYP overall is a uni were you can be your self and were there will be always something new and entertaining
View moreI love this University because of quality, English double degree programs. Lots of international students and teachers. I was a member of UNYP SC. It was an amazing experience to me. My sister also currently studying at UNYP.
WE LOVE UNYP ❤️
View moreI like that it is an American program in Europe for a good price, especially if you have a scholarship. I also wanted to study in english and not too far from home. I love that I met many amazing new friends from all over the word. The teachers are quite good and I can choose my own subjects and teachers and times. Teh only disadvabtage is that the 15 week semester can be quite intense and there tends to be a lot of reading involved. I also think some people are complaining of the way some things gs are handled when it comes to error and stuff, but this can happen anywhere and it doesn’t happen often.
View moreUNYP is exceptional at providing students concrete opportunities to learn. Not only is it embedded in a well-engineered, diverse culture, it provides students who are seeking to expand their cultural perspectives to another level.
Relatively small class size is one of the strongest perks to take advantage of. Students are encouraged to actively engage in class, promoting longstanding learning, and UNYP further devlops and hones their English skills for consequent empowered academic speech.
Right in the heart of Prague, with opportunities that not only extend to the learning, but to the networking and the experiencing aspects representative to the rest of the world, the natural conclusion is that one may be missing out on the opportunity of the lifetime if this school was being considered and then neglected.
There is a lack of freedom in coursework, but for the right reasons—you’ll have to sign up to be able to understand what that means 😉
View moreI have had an incredibly enriching experience studying psychology at UNYP. The key aspect for me is the quality of the faculty—our professors are both passionate about their fields and bring a depth of knowledge that genuinely enhances each course. They often do some super exciting research in the designated field, which they also teach, and they have a lot of first-hand practice and experience. Their enthusiasm is contagious, and they know how to keep lectures engaging and informative, making learning here a genuinely enjoyable experience.
I feel that I am gaining so much from my time here, with each class adding to my skills and knowledge in ways that are directly relevant to my goals. However, one small area for improvement would be the relevance of some mandatory courses. At times, certain subjects feel repetitive or not entirely aligned with the focus of my degree. Considering that it’s a paid program, I would love to see more streamlined coursework directly applicable to each student’s chosen path. On the other hand, I understand that meeting the requirements for both European and American psychology degrees must be challenging, especially given the different state laws and specific accreditation standards involved. However, for me, the occasional repetitiveness or out-of-focus subjects are the only issues I can think of.
Overall, though, I am grateful to be part of such a dynamic learning environment where I’m consistently challenged and inspired. I highly recommend UNYP to anyone looking to study in a setting that values academic excellence and personal growth.
View moreLike any other uni there are always some professors that make it hell for the students , however, there are plenty that make it a great experience too 🙂 For example Patrono, had him 3 semesters in a row and I’d definitely attend his class again
View moreWhat I like about UNYP is that its very flexible. I can be working full time while doing school. I can choose how many courses I would like to take in a week, and i can choose the time to evening classes.
I also appreciate the kind staff members.
Professors are usually very nice as well.
