This university is recognized as one of the best in the Spanish-speaking world. Despite everything, it is not perfect and there are many teachers who do not meet the expected level. There is a lot of bureaucracy and although the exchange of young foreigners occurs, many of them when they go to study in Universidad de Costa Rica, do not find a low-cost plan.
