I am truly grateful for my experience in Zhejiang University. It was not just the school, it was the school of life, maybe because I was doing my program in Chinese and faced many challenges, but I grew so much as a person, woman and young professional.
The teachers were very helpful and encouraging.
Many years has passed since my graduation, but whenever I find myself in life challenges, I remember the fact that I wrote my thesis in Chinese, and it does make me feel like I can be, do and have anything I want.

Zhejiang University is one of China’s top 5 best universities. There are a lot of international students from all around the world who come to this university. Not only by rank, but this university is also known for its honest education systems such as strictness towards all students regarding assignments and exams. This university has a special place in my heart, especially the Zijingang campus, it has all the beauty, history, and city life for international students who are far from their home. Since it’s located in China, I suggest you guys take a language course first which they also have that program, and for those who want to apply for international courses don’t worry because they will give some language courses just like me as international medical students they gave us
language course for 4 semesters, 2 semesters
on year 1 and the other 2 semesters on year 2. They also offer everything you need related to your studies, a good classroom, and a gym where you can find everywhere, as well as canteens that vary so you can choose what kind of food you want to eat, a research room, and a study room with or without people around you, the best view, especiallv for people who like the sit alone and let the nature give them peace, they have all the sports hall that vou need such as basketball court which they also use for the 19th Asian Games that held in Hangzhou on 2023, swimming pool, badminton, tennis court, ping pong, running track, football tract, and other. martial arts place, ballet everything you need. The university itself will let us as international students get involved in their culture, especially during Chinese festivals. They will arrange some activities for all the students both local and international students so you will never feel left out. The most important advice that I can give to prepare yourself to learn the Chinese language if you have zero Chinese which they also offer you a Chinese language program or get a certificate of proficiency called HSK for writing, listening, and reading tests and HSKK for speaking tests before you come to China. In the end, you will stay and make a living there in China which requires you to speak to local people in their language.
