The study program was very exigent, but the infrastructure of the University made it easier to understand many of the processes (chemical labs, physics lab, mechanical labs etc). The student life was good in general, but it was missing some bonding with the teachers, which were in general too “above” the students, we were almost a bit afraid of them.
In my time, the University was not very international, but I think now is opening up a bit more.
I studied Environmental Engineer, which in Chile is still a very new career, that’s why I found a job in Australia, where I became a citizen after working for more than 6 years in a water treatment company. In Australia, I met a few students and universities, very different from my experience in Chile.
