I had a great time time studying. The best part for me was how some of my courses at the Brantford campus had smaller class sizes which meant I could access and connect to my course mates and the professors better.
I wish all my classes were small as I learnt better and faster .
I also loved how easy it was to access the downtown area on the Brantford campus where the school is located in as the library, coffee stores, food stores, book stores were all a walking away

I was looking for a university that offered a recognized online degree in my career path, and Laurier university fits my need. I love that it’s 100 percent online, and can learn at my own pace. I recommend Laurier university to anyone who wants to get a degree and wants to keep a life balance of working full time and being a parent

Studying at Wilfrid Laurier University’s Brantford campus provided a supportive, welcoming undergraduate experience. There are so many opportunities to get involved on campus – whether through part-time jobs, volunteering, or student clubs and associations. The campus is small and close-knit, enabling students to get comfortable and oriented more easily. It also offers small class sizes, meaning that students can connect personally with their professors rather than becoming a nameless face in the crowd. I would recommend this campus to future undergraduates who are nervous about leaving home for the first time. The strong sense of community here makes the transition easy!

My opinion about Wilfrid Laurier would be that it is a very good school in terms of curriculum and the professors. What I dislike about this campus is that it’s in a terrible area. There has been many incidents of students being followed and harassed by the people who live there and the school hardly does anything about it. They also don’t provide the same services as the Waterloo campus. Not a very good area.

I studied at Laurier’s Brantford Campus where the student population was much smaller and not many individuals were enrolled in my program. This resulted in my studies being significantly easier as I was able to reach out to my professors and they could provide assistance. The professors were heavily involved in our learning as they got the chance to get to know everyone and their learning styles making the coursework manageable and understandable. Overall with the smaller population, students have the oppurtunity to network with qualified individuals and were better able to get the help they required in a timely manner.

I liked that my classes were not very large so they felt much more engaging. I did not like the campus it was too small and not much to do on campus I chose to commute instead of staying by the university due to the lack of things to do, I had great professors who all seemed to be enthusiastic about what they are teaching, the classes were also diverse and had all types of people in then which was nice because it didn’t make me feel out of place. Overall Laurier is a great university and so far I’ve enjoyed my years here I just hope they can make the campus a little more lively and nice to stay around

This program gives you the ins and outs of what it is to produce digital media for journalism. The professors give you the tools you need in order to succeed, even though the past two years of academic study have been mostly online. Some professors are fantastic, offering their expertise whenever it fits into their lessons and lectures. This university has two campuses, one in Waterloo, Ontario and the other in Brantford, Ontario. Both have special areas for student studying and are in downtown areas full of culture and accommodations. The Digital Media and Journalism program is located in Brantford, ON, and it’s a small, close-knit group of students and faculty. It genuinely feels like a small family that works and grows together. This program is perfect for those who love writing, journalism and developing digital and social media. The career outcomes for this program are almost endlessly since it touches on countless topics. Public relations, social media management and content development, and writing news stories have been major highlights in my first two years. I still have two years left, but I’m going to take advantage of what Wilfrid Laurier University has to offer me, especially with the ability to take electives that aren’t directly related to my field of study. If you’re looking for the perfect place to expand your learning, Wilfrid Laurier University is the place for you. If you aren’t into writing as much, there are plenty of other programs that I’m sure will help you achieve your career and personal goals.

Laurier has amazing teachers and a support system for all students. There is an amazing amount of diverse and interesting courses for everyone, with all different interests! I highly recommend this program to all!
