Educational-wise, generally most professors are very kind and understanding. They are there to help students, but you will have a small portion who seriously dedicate themselves into their subjects and do not tolerate any mistakes. However, the quality I found most lacking in UoFT was their student help desk/programmes they offered. It felt a bit ludicrous to ask for help while waiting around 30 minutes ~ 1 hour on average for 1 or 2 questions to be answered, then be redirected into another office or towards another person. The community is somewhat welcoming, but some students have a hard time bonding with each other – as there is a clear divide between international and remote students. Needless to say, students do get along, however, not any deeper than having classmates. I’d give it a 7/10.
