UofT has some of the best professors that Canada can offer, and in the humanities they outshine their less candid counterparts. STEM on the other hand, professors are often so overworked with research that they could care less about their undergraduate classes, and often carry about them an air of apathy. UofT is a great choice for research opportunities if you do networking in undergrad, but you do have to bear through what will probably be some of the most stressful times in you life. Student services can vary depending on the person you get, at times they can be absolutely brilliant and helpful, and other times they can be dismissive. UofT as a whole does not really care for its undergraduate population, but if you can wade through the mire of undergrad, it may be worth it.
