Going to the University of Ottawa in the capital of Canadian politics is a dream come true. First of all, I fell in love with politics at a young age. Since my father was an economics professor, he would make us read some of his publications. We would often debate about the themes at the dinner table. I started reading books about it such as the prince by Niccolò Machiavelli, the Second Treatise of Government by John Locke, etc. The more I learned about the topic the more I treasured it. I would even listen to the news and try to analyze some political conflicts. At the University of Ottawa, I got to have an amazing teacher that taught us these topics and even debts.
However, due to the pandemic, the qualities of certain courses took a dip. Teachers are less hands-on.
